This series was started a week after my partner and I separated. We had been together for 30 years. The last piece was made first, and what started as experimenting, turned into an idea to develop more nursery rhymes focusing on what I, and culturally other women, had experienced in this same situation.

The idea of the fun nursery rhyme switched to an adult version left me room to be angry, sad, sarcastic, nonchalant, outspoken, and revealing of myself.
